Jennifer, Senior Project Manager, Ottawa, Canada
"I have been working at PRA for almost 9 years now. After I graduated from University, I started my career in the CRO industry with the intention of acquiring a couple years of experience then moving on, I haven’t yet moved. I work for a dynamic, people-oriented company, in a role where I can truthfully say I am challenged each and every day. My job is never boring and the learning never stops. I have the good fortune of working with a bright and motivated global team, all of us committed to reaching common goals. At PRA I've learned the best solutions to problems result from cooperation; my teams consistently offer their distinct perspective and experience, thereby resulting in the most comprehensive outcome."
Teresa, Senior Project Manager, Lenexa, KS
"I am so fortunate to have found PRA International early on in my career. I have been given numerous growth opportunities, starting out in a support position and quickly advancing through various Clinical Operations, Functional and Project Management roles. There is no doubt that working for one of the Top CRO's in the world has given me the diverse experience I need to continue to develop my understanding of all aspects of global clinical research. I love what I do and have always felt that PRA is where I belong.
Dominika, Clinical Research Associate, Warsaw, Poland
"PRA has given me many opportunities to learn different fields of clinical research. I joined PRA three years ago as a part of the Study Startup Services. After gaining experience in how initial stages of clinical trials are conducted, I was given a new opportunity to become a CRA after completing PRA's CRA Foundations Program. This practical training allowed me to learn all the aspects of monitoring clinical studies. I also met interesting people from around the world and had lots of fun. Personally I am grateful to PRA because I have met many of my friends here, which is more than I could ever expect from a job!"
Luciana, Clinical Research Associate, São Paulo, Brazil
"I started at PRA in Jan, 2005 as Project Associate. Prior to joining PRA, I was a biochemistry and pharmacist student and wanted to work with clinical trials. Since joining PRA, I've been promoted to In-House CRA. In this role, I am learning something new every day about conducting clinical trials while at the same time getting to know more PRA colleagues!"
Melissa, Manager of Clinical Data Management, Reading, UK
"I have been in data management for 10 years and have been at PRA for 9 years. I have had various roles in data management at PRA, starting out as a Clinical Data Coordinator, progressing to a Lead Data Manager and I am now a Manager of Clinical Data Management. PRA has given me the chance to progress my career within data management but has also enabled me to explore my interests in project management and business development. This approach has meant that I can bring additional skills to my role in data management. There is also a great team environment at PRA where all departments work together to successfully complete projects, this has really helped my understanding of the whole drug development process and has given me the chance to meet and work some great people from across the world."
Megan, Manager of Clinical Operations, Point Pleasant, NJ
"I have been with PRA for 9 years now. Prior to joining PRA, I worked as a Sales Representative for Janssen Pharmaceuticals, specializing in GI and dermatological products. I joined the PRA team in 2000 as a CRA. In 2002, I was promoted to Lead CRA and successfully led several projects that contributed to the FDA approval of a GI drug. In 2004, I was promoted again, to a Clinical Operations Manager. This position has afforded me the opportunity to work with many talented individuals across the Clinical Operations department. Throughout my tenure as Manager, I have been involved in numerous initiatives and task forces focused on process improvement within both the department and organization."
Jessica, Associate Analysis Programmer, Raleigh, NC
"When embarking on a career search, PRA immediately stood out as a company and environment I wanted to be a part of. The culture here stands a foot above the rest. Senior management facilitates an environment where open communication and opinions are strongly encouraged. Executives have established ambitious goals, but they never fail to communicate these goals to employees and provide the tools for success through training programs such as AP University, which gave me the skills to excel. Not only do they encourage career development, but they also work diligently to provide benefits that are truly needed by its employees while constantly seeking feedback on what is missing and ways to improve. Their philosophy is based on more than the bottom line, as they actively participate in the community not only through financial backing, but also through hands-on involvement. My experience at PRA has shown me that they really do strive to provide THE PERSONAL ELEMENT – proving that my choice to come here is a decision I would never regret."
Andrea, Clinical Data Coordinator, Victoria, Canada
"In 1998, I started my career in Clinical Research as a Data Entry Technician in Data Management. I am now a Clinical Data Coordinator and I am enjoying this position. I have learned to appreciate my job, the people I work with and because I know (I say this with conviction!) that what I do on a daily basis is contributing to the wellness of you, me and everyone else in this world. Being with PRA has helped me improve my career and allowed me to balance my personal life in raising my family in Victoria."
