Executive Vice

Andrew Strayer, Pharm.D., is Executive Vice President of Product Registration—The Americas. He is charged with directing PRA's operations in the Americas and delivering overall client satisfaction. Dr. Strayer joined PRA in May 2011 as Senior Vice President of Operations and spearheaded various corporate projects on behalf of the Executive Team.

Dr. Strayer brings 20 years of clinical research experience in academia and the pharmaceutical industry to PRA. He has significant experience with both the contract research and biopharmaceutical sectors, and his strengths include proven leadership in clinical operations, drug development, strategic planning, customer relations, team building and change management.

Before joining PRA, Dr. Strayer was the Vice President of Clinical Operations for Gloucester Pharmaceuticals, a company subsequently acquired by Celgene. Prior to Gloucester, he was the Vice President of Clinical Operations and Medical Affairs at Naryx Pharma, Inc. Prior to joining Naryx, he spent 11 years at Pharmaceutical Product Development, Inc. (PPD) where his last position was Senior Vice President of Clinical Operations for the Americas and Asia. He was responsible for leading over 3,000 employees across 28 offices on three continents.

Dr. Strayer received both his B.S. and Pharm.D. from the University of Kansas School of Pharmacy and completed a post-doctoral fellowship in infectious disease at the University of Rhode Island College of Pharmacy and Roger Williams Medical Center.
