Data Management
PRA's Global Data Management group understands the power of data-driven decision making. To that end, we employ leading technologies that give clients access to their clinical trial data as well as all study status information throughout the study's lifecycle. PRA works with clients to develop a technology strategy for an individual trial or a full clinical development program. Our data capture and accessibility tools, combined with our understanding of the increased importance of technology strategy in clinical trial delivery, enable us to effectively implement essential solutions for smooth project execution.
PRA's data transparency philosophy begins with our secure web portal application that facilitates information sharing between PRA and its clients. The PRA Portal provides clients with real-time access to PRA's information systems, including the Clinical Trials Management System (CTMS) and the selected Clinical Data Management System (CDMS). The PRA Portal offers a single location to access status reports, view all project documentation in the electronic trial master file, and access data systems such as the EDC tool of choice and the JReview® ad hoc reporting tool.
PRA's three Data Management hubs employ more than 200 professionals and are located in Lenexa, Kansas (USA); Swansea, Wales (UK); and Victoria, British Columbia (Canada). With our centralized global Data Management model, we offer the following services:
- Full-service or stand-alone Data Management support using PRA systems, technology partner systems, or remotely through a secure, direct-access connection to the client's own clinical data management system
- A Data Management team directed by a Lead Data Manager, who is an expert project manager responsible for the quality and successful delivery of all Data Management tasks and deliverables
