Our Leaders

Steve Powell is Senior Vice President of Clinical Informatics and Late Phase Services. Mr. Powell leads a division that supports PRA's key strategic objective of creating seamless logistics from data collection through information submission bringing together the Data Management, Analysis & Reporting, Safety & Risk Management, Clinical Architecture, and Operational Systems under one group. He is also responsible for the growing Late Phase Services team in support of Phase IIIb –IV studies; Post Marketing Commitments and Registries. Prior to this role, Mr. Powell served as Vice President of Global Clinical Data Management where he managed PRA's Data Management hubs in North America, Europe and Asia.

Mr. Powell has over 20 years of CRO and Pharma/Biotech industry experience, focusing his time to operational management and business/system development in Clinical Data Management and Biostatistics. Prior to joining PRA in 2005, Mr. Powell held several leadership positions across the health care and CRO industries. Mr. Powell has a broad range of experience in biometrics, data capture, and information technology, and a track record of supporting global business expansion.

Mr. Powell holds a BSc in Pure Mathematics & Statistics from the University of Wales, College of Cardiff.
